So Proud...

It is not often that I get to say just how proud of Chase I am. Yes...he is a GREAT little boy, but today he got an award at school. I didn't hear the entire story but the gist was...His friend Daniel helped him do something and Chase (without being asked) said "Thank you Daniel!!!" I know a small thing, but we are so very proud of him! The price was a certificate (that he is holding in the photo) with his name and what he did and a coupon for 10 free tokens at Chuck E Cheese (my favorite place - YUCK)...guess a visit to the awful mouse is in our future!!

Hilton Head Gymnastics Invitational

This weekend was Amelia's first level 4 (AAU) meet in Hilton Head. Amelia was the only 6 year old so needless to say she won first place in all the events!!!

She did so well!! Stuck her cartwheel and dismount on beam and did her best handstand EVER, jumped to the high bar and did an awesome bar rountine, did her vault very well, and the floor - was just great including a beautiful roundoff backhandspring!!

We were so proud of her and how well she did in her first meet!! Exceeded every expectation we had!!

Chase and Puppy came in 4th place...but they had so much fun!!!

As you can tell...Nanny and Bubba joined us for the weekend - we were so happy they came down!!

Today her new competition leotard arrived and she was excited to try it on and post for a few photos!

Her team will be traveling to Hilton Head in 2 weeks for their first meet. She is competing Level 4 this year so she is very excited!

Boat Show...

Daddy's Birthday!!!

Yesterday was Grant's Birthday (1/11) - the kids and I threw him a little home party...Amelia picked out the cake - it had a computer on it and we had a few goodies for him! Here are some photos!

Chase goes to a Camping Party...

Chase was invited to his first birthday party - he has been to birthday parties before but this was the first one that HE was invited to - instead of Amelia being invited and him tagging along....Amelia got to go on a date with her daddy since this was a little boy party....the two of them went bowling and to the movies and had a blast!

Chase had a great time - playing in the tents and eating all the M&M's out of the trail mix!

Chattahoochee Nature Center!

We had such a fun Saturday! We packed a picnic and went up to Roswell to the Chattahoochee Nature Center!

This place is just amazing! Walking trails, butterflies, beavers, birds, etc... Amelia got to borrow a backpack about BIRDS from the center - with binoculars, books, bird call set, etc.. Each time you go you can borrow a backpack about a different topic - so cool!!!
